• Wakefield House is a residential recovery program for women - guided by spiritual principles and managed by house members and the owners. We support recovery with a strong emphasis on discovery thru attention to daily activities, development of safe and supportive family interactions and therapeutic attention to emotional healing. Most house members participate in community based counseling programs. The house is located in Frederick Maryland one block from the bus stop. Most women in the house attend 12-step meetings. We look forward to talking with any women who feel that our house might support their recovery, sobriety and well being.
